Chat that takes the enquiry down.
A box that only says hello is a distraction. The useful version answers from your pages, asks for a name and a way to reply, and stops when it does not know.
£49 a month on a Launch Labs site. £79 to set up if the website is hosted somewhere else.

VisitorDo you cover Bath for a bathroom refit?
AssistantYes. Copperline works across Bristol and Bath. I can take a few details and ask the team to come back with a time to talk.
VisitorIt’s a small bathroom, hoping for next month.
AssistantThank you. What is your name, and the best email or phone number? I can’t give a fixed quote from here.

AssistantNoted. Someone will reply by email. This is an automated assistant, using the pages on this site.
Included
- Chat on the website, during the hours you choose, or always on if that suits the trade.
- Answers drawn from your pages and a short list of questions you approve.
- Name, and an email or phone number, emailed to you with the question.
- A line in the window that says it is an automated assistant.
- A change to the answers when a price, an area or an hour changes.
Limits, on purpose
- If it does not know, it says so and takes a message. It does not browse the open web and guess.
- It will not invent a price, a review, or a medical, legal or financial opinion.
- For those trades, the script stays on contact details, areas and opening hours.
- It is not a replacement for the phone when the matter is urgent. The website still says what to do instead.
