Questions, answered plainly.

If yours is not here, write. A short email is a better use of the afternoon than a page of guesses.

Ask the studio

Do I pay before I see the website?

No. The first design is shown before we take any payment details. There is nothing to put a card against, and no obligation to continue.

What if I don’t like the design?

You say so, and that is the end of it. You owe nothing. We do not publish the design, and we do not hand it to another business.

A sentence on what missed the mark is useful. You do not have to write one.

Is it a template with my logo dropped in?

No. The pages are designed around your trade, your town, and the action you want a visitor to take. A plumber, a restaurant and a skin studio should not look related.

What do I get for £89 a month?

Up to five pages, a layout that works on a phone, hosting, an SSL certificate, a UK domain in your name (a .co.uk, or an equivalent if that is taken), a contact form, basic page titles and descriptions, one revision round before you decide, and about an hour of small content edits a month once the site is live.

The domain is renewed while the website plan is active. The full list, and the things that are not included, is on the websites page.

How long does the first design take?

We aim to show it within five working days of having enough to go on: what you do, where, a few photographs, and what a visitor should do next.

A long menu, or a trade with several distinct services, can take longer. We will say so rather than rush out something generic.

What do you need from me?

The business name, the town, the services you actually want enquiries for, opening hours, and a way for people to reach you. Photographs of the real work or the real premises help a great deal. Rough notes are better than a polished brief you have been putting off.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The draft terms use 30 days’ notice. Hosting continues until the end of that notice. If the account is settled, we will export a copy of the site files so you can move.

Do you only build websites?

No. We also set up business email, inbound call answering, website chat, social profiles and Google Business Profiles. Most people start with the site. The other pieces can wait until the front door is open.

Are the examples on the work page real clients?

No. Copperline Plumbing, Holt & Co, Mara Skin, Ember & Salt and Northline Electrical are concept designs. The businesses are invented. The photographs are not their premises. Any resemblance to a real firm is accidental.

Will you guarantee the top of Google?

No. We set a site up so it can be understood: clear pages, sensible titles, and a Google Business Profile that matches the real business. Nobody honest can sell you a fixed position.

Do you write fake reviews or testimonials?

No. We will not invent quotes, star ratings, or customers. If you have no reviews yet, the site says what you do, not what a crowd of imaginary people thought of it.

Who owns the words and the photographs?

You do, if they were yours to begin with. Please don’t send photographs you don’t have the right to use. The design itself is covered in the terms: you use it while the plan is active, and you can take a file export with you if you leave in good order.

Where are you based?

Launch Labs works with small businesses across the UK. The studio does not publish a walk-in address. Write to hello@launchlabsites.co.uk and you will reach Kevin Howard.

Are the other prices final?

Yes, for the work described. The website is £89 a month with a UK domain included. Email is £15 a month for three mailboxes, a call agent is £79 a month for 100 calls, chat on a Launch Labs site is £49 a month, social is £89 a month for eight posts, and Google Business upkeep is £49 a month. Anything larger than that scope is confirmed in writing before it starts.
