Services

The phone gets answered when you are on a job.

Missed calls become someone else’s work. An inbound call agent answers in the business’s name, follows a script you have approved, and sends you a summary you can act on.

£79 a month, including 100 inbound calls, for one location.

Inbound · boiler noise · callback requested

  1. Caller

My boiler is making a noise and we have no hot water.

  2. Agent

I can take the details for a callback. Is it safe to leave the boiler off until someone rings you?

  3. Caller

    Yes. It’s just noisy.

  4. Agent

Thank you. What is the best number, and is tomorrow morning any use?

  5. Caller

    Tomorrow, before ten.

  6. Agent

I have that. A plumber will call to confirm a time. If it becomes urgent, use the emergency note on the website rather than waiting on this line.

What it does

  • Answers inbound calls to a number we set up, or to a number you divert when you cannot pick up.
  • Uses your hours, your services, and the jobs you do not take.
  • Collects a name, a number, the job, and how quickly a person needs to call back.
  • Emails you a short summary. You still decide the diary.
  • Introduces itself as the business’s answering service. It does not pretend to be a named member of staff.

What it will not do

  • Give a firm price you have not authorised.
  • Treat a genuine emergency as if a person on the tools were already there. The script tells the caller what to do instead.
  • Make outbound sales calls. This is answering, not a call centre.
  • Take more than 100 inbound calls in a month. At that point we stop and agree what happens next, rather than running on quietly.

You approve the script before it goes live, and you can change it when the season changes — boilers in October, gardens in April, a kitchen that stops taking walk-ins. The monthly fee includes those ordinary revisions.
